This is great… Haha
At the end of the year, I usually file all of my door decs from my RAs away in a binder, but didn’t have the heart to with this one. Love it. #NH #granitestate #nofilter (Taken with instagram)
This was my floor theme for opening in fall - it was Dexter’s lab!
These were my door decs for residents:
And for RA’s:

these eleven Doctor Who owls I created for one of my bulletin boards as a CA in one of the residence halls at my school. I am not an artistic person, and they took forever but I was so proud of them and my residents seemed to really enjoy them too. I gave them to a pair of Whovian roommates at the end of the school year as a parting gift.
My favorite owl was the Seventh Doctor.
All of my residents get to be a “piece” (of popcorn) on my last board. (Taken with instagram)
How can you make something boring into something giftable? Wrap it up!
I’m an RA, and as such, I have a lot of really boring paperwork I have to pass out to my residents. While the content is pretty important to them, most of the papers end up in the recycle bin without a pair of eyes ever…
For those of you who didn’t know, I’m a Resident Assistant at Auburn University.
I just had to put up my final bulletin board of the year and I’m kind of really sad about it. On the other hand, I think it’s my best :)
March RA Program: Alcohol Awareness - Drinking Games.
As a Resident Assistant, I held a program last night where we played water pong in the common room with drunk goggles we got from Res Life. It was nearly impossible, showing the affects of alcohol: impaired vision, delayed reaction time, confusion. There were goggles of various BAC levels; as the game went on they got progressively harder. The guys had fun and it was pretty neat to be able to play a drinking game in the common room…without the drinks of course.
